Requirements
You are:
You are a bright, motivated, and successful Account Executive, with experience in Software or Solution Sales, looking for the potential to progress. You will have the same levels of energy and commitment as you did when you first started in sales. In addition to which you will be hungry, target-driven, tenacious, have strong technical aptitude and exceptional account planning and market mapping skills.
Working alongside a world-class Sales and Marketing team you will thrive in fast paced, industry changing revolutionary organisation. By working on the front line of our Sales function you will be responsible for delivering our unique software offering to millions of users around the globe.
As a driven Account Executive you will be responsible for a true 360o sales process from generating new business opportunities by conducting high-level conversations with decision makers about business operations particularly in relation to file sharing, security and social collaboration strategies. We are a young and exciting company providing innovative Enterprise File Sharing & Synchronization Software solutions to businesses around the World.
We are looking for you to:
- Take raw data, such as a company name from established lists and internet searches and use your skills and intelligence to build a complete contact profile, to develop leads and close new business opportunities.
- Target and engaged with organisations in line with an established sales process
- Be responsible for outbound/inbound phone calls to identify, qualify, and develop sales leads/opportunities and identify the most appropriate decision maker (Director, CIO, VP, etc.)
- Clearly position our SaaS platform in relation the prospect's requirement and continuously learn about Workshare product lines and product roadmap.
- Describe how product features/function will benefit customer and solve their business issues
- Where appropriate conduct product demos using Webex and internal resources as needed
- Ensure all Account Management activity is tracked using Salesforce CRM system to:
- Document customer information
- Generate forecasts and other related sales reports track progress and document next steps for each lead/opportunity
- Process sales orders
You will already have:
- A love of what you do which is manifested in your ability to build long term, sustainable relationships.
- Excellent listening (80%) and communication (20%) skills, a strategic approach and a consultative mind-set and the ability to identify opportunities to create customer demand
- A polite, confident, and friendly manner, be articulate and credible with great communication and presentation skills
- A motivated, self-starter mentality and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Flexibility and quick thinking borne out of a consultative approach.
- Highly structured and organised with a keen eye for detail and fastidious nature, even under pressure
- Enjoy working within a target-driven team environment and a proven track record of over-achieving targets with a team-player mindset
- A strong aptitude for understanding technical issues and solutions
- Passionate about helping clients make the best possible decision
- Proven success within a 360o hunter/farmer role
- Experience with telesales techniques and processes including use of CRM tools for tracking and managing the lead generation process
- Independent, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Full proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and CRM SaaS
- Experience in a Software Sales or Services/Solution Sales capacity.
- Good knowledge of software applications and IT services.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, sales, or related field of study
